Starting Point

When we first came across ThinkGo, we were at a point where the business was working, but we knew we needed to be more deliberate about how we scaled

We had a strong product and a solid platform. In some areas, we were ahead of our peers. But we also knew there were gaps, particularly around sales and marketing. The challenge was that while we had a sense of this, we didn’t have a clear or structured way to define it or prioritise what to do next.

Running the ThinkGo Diagnostics tool gave us that clarity.

It didn’t tell us anything completely new. What it did was confirm where we stood and, importantly, give us something concrete to work from. We could see how we compared to other SaaS businesses and where we needed to focus.

From insight to action

From there, things shifted from insight to action.

Through a series of coach-led sessions, we worked through what needed to change. We defined our target customers more clearly, sharpened our messaging, and put more structure around how we go to market. Just as importantly, we got the right people involved in those conversations. That helped align us as a leadership team.

That alignment led to some meaningful changes in how we operate.

We adjusted roles internally to better connect product, marketing and sales. We also became much more focused on the industries where we know we can win. Instead of trying to do everything, we made deliberate choices about where to put our energy.

Measurable results

That focus has paid off.

A good example was how we responded to major regulatory changes for residential and in-home healthcare providers in Australia. Rather than reacting late, we leaned into it. We built targeted messaging and ran webinars around the change. The level of engagement we saw was significantly higher than anything we had done before, and it positioned us as credible and knowledgeable in that space.

That credibility is now translating into real opportunities and partnerships.

We have also built a more disciplined way of working across the business. We run Diagnostics every 6 months, and we have put objectives and measurable outcomes around the areas we are focused on. That means we are no longer relying on gut feel. We can actually track whether we are improving.

Where we are now

Looking back, ThinkGo Diagnostics did more than give us a snapshot of the business. It helped us create a structure around how we grow.

Today, we are more aligned as a team, clearer on where we are heading, and in a much stronger position to scale in a controlled and deliberate way. That’s the real value.
